Welcome to Majestic the world’s first company to specialize in providing entertainment systems specifically designed for harsh environments, such as boats, caravans and recreational vehicles. Majestic was founded by Tony Munro in the year 2000. Tony Munro has a long history in the marine industry, starting as an electronics apprentice in 1988 learning about Radar, Autopilots, Sonar and GPS systems. Whilst working full time he wanted to further his technical skills and enrolled in electronic engineering, which he completed in 1996. Keeping abreast of the rapid growing technology and being in demand in the marine industry Tony ventured out on his own as an on-site mobile service technician. By 1999 he realized that one of the biggest problems that his marine clients had was space for their television, and most were using your normal home brands which were proving to be very unreliable in this environment.

It was in the year 2000 which Majestic was born when the first of the LCD TV were released to a select few of his well respected customers. From here the product sold it self and the demand for a slim, easy to use and very reliable product was going to far exceed what Tony ever imagined. Whilst demand for his product was growing Tony was slowing down the on-site service part of his operation and working on developing a DVD player that would be like nothing around on the market. By late 2000, the worlds first all in one unit AM/FM stereo with CD, MP3 and DVD player was released, This was the beginning of our success.

From this point forward our innovative designs and incredible reliability has formed a solid foundation for Majestic to be a world leader in producing electronic entertainment systems that can withstand the harsh terrain of Australia’s outback and are reliable enough to perform consistently in the adverse marine environment.

In 2002 with a range of LCD TV’s, DVD players and various speakers, we launched Majestic overseas to the American and New Zealand markets. Our success had now rubbed off in these two places, with some of largest dealers in the RV and Marine taking up the opportunity to provide the local clients the benefit of product that performs and is very reliable.

Further expanding in 2003, Majestic moved into the new warehouse facilities in Export Drive, Queensland and now had further developed the R&D and after sales support teams. Majestic was now preparing for another phase of expansion with more new designs such as another range speakers and a 10 stack DVD player to use with extremely popular water-resistant stereos.

We released our 3 year international optional warranty in 2004; this was designed to offer those customers peace of mind which had already been devastated by other brands not offering warranty due to the product being used outside of the home environment. This warranty is totally supported in house by Majestic and its engineering team, whilst the R&D team continuously works to ensure that Majestic will remain in the forefront of producing reliable state-of-the-art entertainment electronics for years to come.

As the years pass, this motivated team at Majestic has made a promise to ensure that they continue to strive for the development of the best possible products offering reliability superior to the opposition and performance that sets benchmarks. Most importantly to ensure you – our customer, has total after sales support and is absolutely delighted and very proud to own a Majestic product.
